Transportation Flow Privacy Policy

1. What this app does

Transportation Flow is used by authorized drivers and operations teams to execute assigned transfers, capture delivery evidence, manage return documents, and monitor trips in real time.

2. Data we collect

We process account identifiers needed to authenticate the user (email address and user ID), assigned transfer data, operational notes, the name and optional signature of the person who receives a delivery, incident reports (type, severity, description, estimated delay and location), photos uploaded as trip evidence, and device/location telemetry related to active trips.

When live tracking is enabled for an active transfer, the app can collect precise location both while the app is in use and in the background. Each tracking ping may include location accuracy, speed, heading, movement state, device battery level and capture time; the phone model is recorded when tracking starts. On Android only, pings may also include a flag indicating whether a mock-location app was detected, and the app may record motion-sensor events such as hard braking, hard acceleration or sharp cornering; the iOS app does not collect these. This supports route monitoring, geofence events, proof of service, incident investigation, and operational safety.

3. How location is used

Background and foreground location are used only for operational transport workflows such as active trip tracking, geofence arrival/departure detection, signal recovery, and service verification for the tenant that assigned the trip.

Transportation Flow does not use trip location data for public advertising or unrelated profiling.

4. Sharing and access

Trip data is visible only to authorized users within the corresponding tenant and according to role-based access controls. When a driver starts the trip to the customer, the platform issues a time-limited tracking link (valid for up to 7 days) for that trip's customer, showing the driver's name and the vehicle's live position, speed, heading and route until the link expires or the transport company revokes it. Signed URLs and private storage are used for sensitive documents and media.

We use service providers to host and operate the service, including Supabase (database, authentication and file storage) and Google Cloud / Firebase App Hosting (web and API hosting). They process data only on our instructions, under data-processing terms that require them to give user data the same or equal protection described in this policy, and operational data remains scoped to the tenant account that owns the transfer. We do not sell personal data or share it with advertisers or data brokers.

5. Retention, deletion and security

Operational records, delivery evidence, signatures, and return documents may be retained as part of the transport audit trail and legal/financial recordkeeping obligations of the tenant.

Drivers and other users can request account deactivation or deletion of their personal data through the administrator of the organization that manages their account, or by emailing admin@buildingyourdreamstech.com. Requests are honored except where specific records must be kept to satisfy the tenant's legal, contractual, or financial recordkeeping obligations; data that no longer needs to be retained is deleted.

Transportation Flow applies authentication, tenant scoping, private storage, and least-privilege controls to protect operational data. No security control is represented as absolute; users must also protect their credentials and authorized devices.

6. Driver choices

A driver can review the privacy policy and the location disclosure inside the mobile app before granting location permissions. If background location is not granted, live trip tracking will not be available.

Location services can also be disabled at the operating-system level, but that may prevent execution of assigned transfers that require real-time tracking.
